Associate Professor
Md Rabiul Hasan completed his doctoral degree from the Department of Physics and Technology at UiT The Arctic University of Norway in 2023. His research focused on the modeling and simulation of dielectric nanostructures for optical trapping and Raman spectroscopy of biological nanoparticles. His research has had a significant impact in the realm of metasurface-based nanoparticle trapping. His work has been published in esteemed journals, and he has presented his findings at international conferences. Following the successful completion of his Ph.D., he has continued his career as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering (ETE) at RUET. Prior to this, he obtained his bachelor's degree in ETE and his master's in Electrical & Electronic Engineering (EEE) from the same institute in 2012 and 2016, respectively. He joined as a lecturer in 2015 and was promoted to the position of Assistant Professor in the Department of ETE in 2017. His research interests include finite element modeling, dielectric nanoantennas, optical trapping, waveguides, and plasmonics.
