I have been working as an Assistant Professor at the Dept. of Urban and Regional Planning since 30th June, 2020. I joined in this dept. as a lecturer in 24th July, 2017. Before joining this dept I worked in Housing and Building Research Institute as a research fellow for 8 months (Jan 2015 to Aug 2015). I also worked in BUET-JIDPUS for 3 months as a research Assistant in 2014. I received the South Asian Water Fellowship (SAWA) based on my excellent performance in the Master's entrance exam of the Institute of Water Management of BUET, which took place just after completing my graduation from BUET in 2014. However, I received a prestigious VLIR-UOS scholarship from Belgium and joined the master's program of the Institute of Development Policy of Antwerp University in 2015. After completing my masters, I came back to Bangladesh and Joined as a Lecturer at this University.
To date, I worked in 2 research projects which are completed and publications from these projects are available online. My research interests primarily focus on climate change mitigation and adaptation, heritage management, urban form, urban space, and public space design.
